What can I do with my i9-13900K

I have a intel i9-13900K processor and I have had so many issues with it for a very long time now sinc 15/11/2022. There has been many issues with the processor where people have been trying to fix the problem, motherboard problems etc. I have not been satisfied at all with the processor since i have had many crashes and I was not able to play any games because of the processor problems. There has even been game dev's where they had to listing that there are problems playing the game with the 13th and 14th gen processors and they have had to post a solution to be able to play the games. Where you need to get the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and turn down the Performance Core Ratio from 55x to 53x for games not to crash. I still need to do this for my CPU not to crash my PC. I was wondering if there is something i can do about this? Request a refund or anything at all. Because it is starting to get annoying to have paid so much money for a processor that does not even preform well...

Hello Wingus,

Thank you for sharing your experience with the community. Before we can proceed with the RMA process, we need to conduct some investigations within this forum. To better understand the issue you encountered with your system, please consider the following questions:

  • How frequently does the system crash each day?
  • Besides the crashing issue, have you experienced any Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors?
  • Could you share the other steps you have taken to isolate the issue, apart from lowering the core ratio?
  • Have you updated your BIOS?

Additionally, I have sent you an email requesting further details about your processor. Please check your inbox and spam folder for this email.

Note: Please refrain from posting the requested information here.

1. It used to crash almost every single day back in the days before i started using the Extreme tuning utility app. Whenever I started a game that was slightly "heavy".

2. I dont remeber what type of blue screen's i was getting but every single time i mention "crash" I mean a blue screen. I think it said something with memory and when i searched it up it was a CPU problem. I used to get BSOD every single time i wanted to play a game that was heavy on the PC, right now I dont get BSOD's anymore but when i normally play games and  i forgot to change the Performance Core Ratio the game just turns off.

3. I updated my BIOS because I read somewhere that there was a fix for the 13th and 14th gen CPU's to stop crashing and getting BSOD so I updated my BIOS and all it did was instead of giving me a BSOD every time i was playing a game it just turned the game of and said it "crashed". So the only solution i really did was to turn down the Performance Core ratio everyday so I can actually do something on my PC.

I will send you the other request on MAIL in a bit.
