Hi,
I just recently got my i5 3570k and was curious my motherboard sets that vcore to 1.2v when I am not even overclocking.
Is 1.2v the stock vcore? I notice 1.2 only when I hit the turbo boost of 3.8 ghz, at idle the stock vcore is anywhere from 0.96 - 1.1, it fluctuates a lot while idle.
Is 1.2v safe? should I manually set it to something lower to get better heat and less chance of hurting the chip?
Thanks!

Please keep in mind that there is no a specific value on voltage but a range because the voltage depends on the CPU load.
The VID range for this specific processor is 0.2500-1.5200.
