Is there any official Intel software that tests Xeons CPUs, that attempts to test every part of the CPU by running it flat out, pushing it to it limits? I know there's third-party software that pushes CPUs (prime95, mprime, Passmark etc), but wondered if there was any official software from Intel. Ideally Linux, but I can run Windoze if need be.

Thank you very much. I look forward to trying that on my Dell 7920 workstation later. I might run it on my laptop for a few minutes too.
It would be really great if Intel could provide a Linux version. I'm sure you are aware that a large number of the higher-end processors used in servers, run Linux. One can buy workstations and servers from Dell with Linux pre-installed, and no doubt other from other companies like HP too, although I have not checked that.
