Hello,
Well, E3 Sandy Bridge Xeons are out and available now.
But not low power versions like E3-1220L (released but not available).
When these will be available ?
thanks
Vilius

There are no news on the web about low TDPs' availability date. I would love to have an idea about that too.

Possible that these "L" E3 Xeons are only for OEMs and won't be available for retailers ?

Hi vilius,
I'm afraid you're right.
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon%20E3-1220L%20CM8062307262828.html http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon%20E3-1220L%20CM8062307262828.html
The page clearly states "CM8062307262828 is an OEM/tray microprocessor".
Furthermore, a http://www.hardware-specs.net/index.php?option=com_fabrik&c=form&view=details&Itemid=100003&fabrik=2&rowid=3266:3266&fabrik_cursor=99&fabrik_total=3305&tableid=2 french equivalent of this website shows the OEM reference number, but not the BOX one.
So I think you're right ; and that's just too bad. I really needed these CPUs...
H.
