Where I can find additional info about Intel QuickData technology?

I'm working with an Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 and I'm developing a driver for DMA device (IOAT - QuickData) on QNX but I need more info.

The only Intel documentation I've found are the Xeon E5 v3 product family datasheets. Vol 2 has the register layout, but no operational description, descriptor formats, etc.

I have found all required info in Linux kernel but, where I can find them on Intel documentation?

Thanks for any help

Alessio

Hello alessioc71:

In regard to your inquiry, not sure if you already saw the following link, but on it you will find additional information about IOAT:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/wireless-network/accel-technology.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/wireless-network/accel-technology.html

And here is the link for QNX where you might find additional details about it:

http://www.qnx.com/content/qnx/en.html http://www.qnx.com/content/qnx/en.html

As you can see, they have a community that might be able to provide further details:

http://community.qnx.com/sf/sfmain/do/home http://community.qnx.com/sf/sfmain/do/home

Besides that, on the link below you will see a guide for QuickData that might be useful for you:

http://www.intel.com/content/dam/doc/white-paper/quickdata-technology-software-guide-for-linux-paper.pdf http://www.intel.com/content/dam/doc/white-paper/quickdata-technology-software-guide-for-linux-paper.pdf

If by any chance the information you are looking for is not available on those sites, then please submit your inquiry in our developer zone, in there you will get further assistance from different peers that should be able to provide the data you need, you just need to Login to enter a new thread:

https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-many-integrated-core https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-many-integrated-core

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards

Alberto

Hi Alberto,

thanks for your answer but these links are quite generic or already known links (Eg: linux one) but what I would like is a more detailed Intel datasheet/document about QuickData interface to be able to implement a driver.

In detail, on available Intenl datasheet I have found all QuickData registers detail but nothing about its descriptor (format and content)

Anyway I have posted a new question to the developer zone, as suggested, thanks
