I have a Mac Mini that came with a Core Duo 1.83Ghz processor. I found that the processor is easily swappable. The T7600 and T7200 will work but there are many other Intel Core 2 Duo models I've found on eBay. Is there a resource that will tell me which processors will work in my Mini?

Hello Norwestie,
Based on the chipset family and the support socket, we can say all these processors are backwards compatible.http://ark.intel.com/compare/29761,27256,29760,31728,29762,27255,27257 http://ark.intel.com/compare/29761,27256,29760,31728,29762,27255,27257
However, you will need to get in touch with MAC so they can let you know if the upgrade can be done or not.
The compatibility with your Mini depends of the availably of a microcode that needs to be provide by your computer manufacture.
Regards.
