Which is a genuine i7 3720qm processor

Can anyone tell me if this is genuine? Arent they supposed to have a cover over that part that says intel on it? Never really done this and theres a whole bunch on ebay but none look like the one i seen on amazon with a metal plate that says intel core tm i7. Thank you

This is an older model, and its appearance is consistent with other models from the same generation.
