Hello,
I have a device with an i5-9500.
According to the (Win10 21H2) registry:
Identifier: Intel64 Family 6 Model 158 Stepping 10
ProcessorNameString: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9500 CPU @ 3.00GHz
Previous Update Revision (= Microcode Version from the Bios): EC
Update Revision (= Microcode Version loaded): EC
CPUID (according to HWiNFO and the Intel Processor Identification Utility): 906EA
Strangely enough, with this CPUID I found mostly 8th Gen. CPUs!?
Shouldn't I have received the microcode version "F0" via Windows Update as part of the IPU 2022.1 by now?
Does anyone have a tip for a good website to easily assign and determine the current microcode versions?
Thanks and greetings, Martin
