Why don't half of my Intel CPU tools work?

I have tried everything to open The Diagnostic Tool and The Tuning Utility. They won't install or even open. I have an Intel i7-4970T CPU.

You will notice, in the list of supported processors, that your processor is not supported.

Only X and K processors are supported by XTU.

Then, from the link I provided, you want to install this file: IPDT_Installer_4.1.4.36_64bit.exe

If it fails, provide the error message.

What version of WIndows 10 are you running? 1909? 1903 (with all updates)?

Then you have some OS issue. If you are using a 3rd party Antivirus program, disable it or remove it. If you have a 3rd party firewall, remove it. Using Windows Defender and WIndows firewall, does the problem still exist?

My firewall and antivirus are both Windows. I keep an AVG and WiseCleaner utilities suites running in the background.

You have BOTH Windows Defender and AVG running, at the same time? Disable AVG. And, make certain that WiseCleaner is disabled and not running.

You do not want AVG and WiseCleaner to possibly interfere with anything.

I uninstalled both and can now install IPDT. I can even repair it, but still can't open it!!!!

Clearly, your windows configuration with tools like AVG and WiseCLeaner are causing you problems. You need to do a clean install of Windows without adding junk like avg and wisecleaner and any other 3rd party junk.

IPDT installs and runs on Windows 10. Your problem is with your system, which you need to cleanup first.
