Did yo monitored the temperatures? Check the cooling. Clean the cooling fans. Check the air inlets and outlets.

No, it's not cooling. This is occurring because the Intel Management Engine (ME) is not running. This results in the hard shutdown at 30 minutes. This is likely happening as a result of a failed/aborted BIOS update, which screwed up the ME's firmware. No one can fix this issue but your laptop manufacturer. Hopefully they have some sort of recovery tool for a failed BIOS update. The only other alternative is replacing the motherboard.
