I have an EK Delta 2 TEC for a new build I too would like to know if 14th gen support will be added to the Intel Cryo Cooling software.
I've got both a 13900KS and 14900KF waiting so I would need a confirmation before too long to know if I'll have to sell or return one of them.

I also have a 13900KS and a 14900K, technically I don't see why Intel can't update the code for the Cryo software and physically there isn't any reason why it wouldn't work that I can see. I get there is only a small portion of buyers using the cryo software but Intel should be keeping their associated software updated as they launch new hardware.
I guess we are going to have to wait and hope somebody at Intel does something because EK and CoolerMaster is only providing the actual coolers, maybe they can get Intel on this?

MMANHB, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
In reference to your question, we would like to let you know that the Intel® 14th Generation Processors are not enabled for Intel® Cryo Cooling Technology. Intel® Cryo Cooling Technology is going to be (End Of Life) very soon. Therefore the utility will not be enabled on new generations of Intel® processors.
Any questions, please let me know.

Albert R.

That's disappointing, 14900K in reality is a 13900k LGA1700.
Thanks

MMANHB, Thank you very much for your response.
Even though they are very similar, they are not the same, as you can confirm in the link below:

Any other inquiries, do not hesitate to contact us again.

Wow, what a way to stomp on 14th Gen early adopters Intel. It would have trivial to for you to add support or better still since you say it is soon to be EOL anyway how about removing the hardware check so it can be used on any system at the users own risk.

Intel, Retrogamersam has a valid point, if its end of life remove the check mark. This is so ridiculous not to support the last (supposedly best) LGA1700 CPU. I will now be sending back the 14900k. This is a slap in the face to your gaming customers.

RetroGamerSAM, MMANHB, Thank you very much for your comments.
In reference to this scenario, we would like to let you know that for Intel®, all the feedback and suggestions provided by all of our clients are very important. For that reason, I will send your remarks and observations to the proper department about this scenario and about removing the hardware check, in order to keep improving the customer's experience while using Intel® products.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hello Albert R, did you get any feedback regarding the request for the Cryo software to be utilized on 14th gen CPU at users own risk? Removing restrictions for use only with the current Intel CPUs listed up to 13th gen?
After all 13 and 14th gen use the same socket and very identical architecture. This looks bad on Intel, you guys really need to step back and see this from your paying customers perspective buying these very expensive CPUs.
I know there are many 14900k owners like myself sending back the 14900k requesting a refund because Intel refuses to support the current flagship CPU, we would rather keep the 14th gen and use the Cryo software.
Thanks

Hello MMANHB, Thank you very much for providing additional information on this matter.
Yes, I already sent your feedback to the proper department, and I will add the details you just shared to your previous remarks and send them to them as well. Still, it is important to mention that there is no ETA or a guarantee that changes will be made or that they will make implementations to this software, especially since it is going EOL (End of Life).
I send them your suggestions and comments for them to be aware of this situation and to take your observations into consideration for future product releases.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

Albert R.

replaced my old 13900kf to 14900k and guess what cant install cryo?
come on guys one last update, the 14900k is the end of life of lga 1700. i have my rig ready are we gonna play the waiting game
lots of people waiting for this update, don't tell me you can't do it.u dont want to do it
ek delta tec 2 is the most powerful cooling it doesn't even make sense to stop supporting it.
my rig is ready i wait for an update, i cant go back to another cooling solution.
and ek delta tec 3 is not gonna happen anytime soon.
it would make more sense if you stopped supporting this ek delta tec 2 with 15900k .... but not 14900k that is the same as 13900k!

I agree Bezos, this is a complete lack of customer service from Intel and the next upgrade I do I will go AMD I'm done begging asking for an update they should already have done.
We give Intel hundreds of dollars for a CPU and they don't update the very last CPU using LGA1700.
And your right they can do it they just don't want to and I'll remember this next purchase.
Yeah man it's their 14900k not a new socket 15th gen and they don't support it!
