XTU Settings Not Preserved After Power Outage

So I realise this is probably working as intended as a safety measure, just wondering if there's a way to get around it...

I finally noticed that if I experience a power outage while my PC is on, my XTU settings revert to default.

Unfortunately it's not an uncommon occurrence where I live, and every time it happens, I have to re-apply my (not extreme) OC settings. (Which I usually forget to do until I'm running something and see my clock speed.)

It's fine if I shut down normally and re-start, but if the power goes out, when I restart I see "Watchdog Failed: True" and settings are reverted.

Any way to force it to keep the settings even after what probably looks like a crash to it?

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

I am sorry to hear what is happening with your Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU), I will gladly assist you here.

Could you please provide us with an Intel® SSU report so we can investigate more about this issue?
