XTU - What happened to the XTUCLI.EXE interface application

The Extreme Tuning Utility command line interface (xtucli.exe) seems to have disappeared in recent versions of the program.

Has it been discontinued.  I used to use it to tune down the processor automatically when the  processor temp got to high and restore when temp went down.  Now I have to use the GUI, and it takes additional time.

TAS3086, Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.

In order to provide the most accurate assistance on this matter, we just wanted to confirm a few details about this scenario:

The feature XTUCLI.EXE interface, that was an option inside the Intel® XTU or it was something that you get where you were loading or downloading the application?

By any chance, do you have the option to provide a screenshot of the Intel® XTU that shows where the feature that you are referring to was located?

Any questions, please let me know.

interesting, the old xtucli works with the current installed package.  Here is a sample run.

NOTE: any of these options can be immediately changed. This is how I change the processor config when it gets too hot. Item#2701131777 provides the current temperature.

While the XTUCLI.EXE old program seemed to work, it is capable of viewing all the processor settings, and appears to make changes, BUT the changes are NOT changed in the operation of the system.

So I would still like to know if the if the utility is still available, or do I need to go back and reinstall the old program?

Thank you in advance for a reply.

Terry

Hello TAS3086, I just received an update on this matter.

After further research we can confirm that the option has been removed from versions after the 6.4.1.25.

So, if you need this implementation, to install an Intel® XTU version older than 6.4.1.25. will be needed.

where can I get 6.4.1.25 or the previous version? Should 6.4.1.25 work?

Thanks
