XTU / watchdog can never survive a healthy reboot without reverting to vanilla

It's odd cuz sometimes it almost seems like it works better when I Apply my XTU settings and the terminate XTU.exe. Because then when I reboot the computer there is actually a possibility that it will boot without reverting to vanilla. And what's the actual point of disabling hotkey profile pairing whenever XTU reverts to vanilla settings? That really doesn't make any sense at all. Fine, set my profile back to vanilla, but let me hotkey the machine that I paid for... when i feel like it, please?
