Hi All,
I'm having an issue with my Intel Xeon E5-1650 v3 @3.50 GHz processor where it's only showing 4 available cores (with hyper-threading enabled).
The machine is running Windows 10 Enterprise, using the HP Z440 latest bios, drivers.
I've run the Intel Processor Identification Utility and it confirmed that there is something wrong with my configuration:
Reported Threads: 4 Cores: 2
Expected Threads: 12 Cores 6
I've contacted support already and they told me I'd be contacted shortly by the technical team but they never got back to me. The case number is # 00237663 .
Thanks,
Max
Edit: Also ran diagnostics tool and it strangely supported Success for everything. Looks like it doesn't check for active vs expected cores.

I have checked your case number and this is going to be handled through Intel Customer support.
Please wait for a response shortly.

Never got a response from Intel Support.
Took it up with my company IT department and found it was a BIOS setting issue. For whatever reason when I got the PC it was set to 2 processors, fix was to set it to Auto.
