I am using Intel CPU Xeon E5-2630 to run CentOS 6.5. I found that for 12 CPUs, the feature flags of 'AES' are available. but running IPsec feature can't improve performance. so I checked this site http://ark.intel.com/Search/FeatureFilter?productType=processors&AESTech=true&FamilyText=Intel%C2%AE%20Xeon%C2%AE%20Processors. I can't find out Xeon E5-2630. Xeon E5-2630 don't support AES-NI? Please help us check it. Thanks.

the below infomations from my device:

1.grep -o aes /proc/cpuinfo display: aes (total 12)

2.sort -u /proc/crypto | grep module. dispaly: module :aesni_intel

3.uname -a. display:Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64 # 1 SMP Fri Nov 22 03:15:09 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Lin

Hi MaYuming,

I understand you need information about certain processor features. specifically support for AES-NI.

Let me help you with your question.

After checking processor specifications, I have noticed that AES-NI is indeed supported by the Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2630
