Z590 strix with a 11700kf

Hi there not sure if anyone can help me.I have problem with posting no being able to enter bios as the mb haults on vga then bios.I have read i will need a cpu with onboard gpu to be able to pass .Please can anyone confirm this pls .gpu works on my 170 fine
