I have the notebook acer aspire 4730z, I will buy more ram and an ssd, and I would like to put a better processor.

Does anybody know if the Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 is compatible, if not, there is other one?

Personally, I think this is a waste of money. You really want to be purchasing a much more-modern laptop. The most memory that this could have is 4GB (old DDR2-667).

If you really want to go through the process, you need to contact Acer and find out what processor modules can be put into this laptop and then look at procuring a better one. Based on a quick search, it would seem that modules with Core 2 Duo T7500 and Core 2 Duo P8700 could work - but again, this needs to be verified with Acer and finding one is the issue.

Hope this helps,
