cat /proc/meminfo results != intel specification (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2695 v4)

Hello there, I have a question about the difference of `cat /proc/meminfo` and the system memory spec provided by intel.

I have 2 `Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2695 v4 @ 2.10GHz` CPUs in my remote server.

Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2695 v4

According to this processor spec, I should have 1.5TB of RAM. (Or 3TB, because I have 2 physical CPUs in the system) Isn't it?

But `cat /proc/meminfo` tells me that I have 252GB of MemTotal.

Why are they different??? I'd really like to use 1.5TB...

The identical? question is cat /proc/meminfo - Intel Communities here, but I couldn't understand it. I'd really appreciate if you'd help me understand why!

OH MY GOD..... The server had 24 DIMM slots but only 8 of them had actual DIMM.
Does that mean I have 256GB system memory..?!! (All of DIMMs are like this. 32GB * 8 = 256GB Is it like this??)
