i'm a university student,and it's required to gather many informations about the "" architecture of core 2 duo processor "" !

1) hits and misses

2) cache mapping

3)replacement policies ( direct,full assocc. or semi assocc. )

4)write policies

5)virtual memory

i need to know how all of these works with the core 2 duo specificly .
