I am a student who is intersted in TDX. I bought a dell poweredge r760 with Intel Xeon 4410Y. Does dell have the permission to get "Intel® Trust Domain Extensions (Intel® TDX) Platform Enablement and Validation Requirements"? I asked Dell. They gave an answer from "Linux* Stacks for Intel® Trust Domain Extension 1.0", and just told me some BIOS options mentioned can not find. Therefore, I wonder whether dell has the permission to get "Intel® Trust Domain Extensions (Intel® TDX) Platform Enablement and Validation Requirements" and then gives me an accurate answer?

Hello littleQ,
Thank you for your waiting time we really appreciate it,
After reviewing the details we would like to share the following information with you:
- Intel® TDX technology is present on Sapphire Rapids Extreme Core Count (XCC)/Medium Core Count (MCC) for technology readiness and enabling.
- Only specific Sapphire Rapids CPUs support the Intel® TDX feature. Intel® TDX is disabled by default on all Sapphire Rapids + High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) SKUs.
- The MCC processors range from 24-32 cores per socket at 165-205 watts, while the XCC processors provide 52 cores per socket at 300 watts.
- Intel® Trust Domain Extensions (Intel® TDX) Additional Details can be found in the following link (NDA will be required): https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/secure/design/internal/content-details.html?DocID=646564
- Additional details can be found in this link Intel® Trust Domain Extensions (Intel® TDX) https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/technical/intel-trust-domain-extensions.html
Regarding the BIOS settings, our recommendation will be to contact the manufacturer of your system for the validation and also the features and BIOS settings.
We hope this information proves to be useful for you, in case you have further doubts please let us know, we will be waiting for your reply, in case we don't receive it we will follow up with you.
Best regards,

I have asked dell for help. But they just gave an answer from "Linux* Stacks for Intel® Trust Domain Extension 1.0", told me some BIOS options mentioned can not find. As a student, I can't get NDA , therefore, I wonder if dell can get the NDA, and let dell read the doc and give me an answer.

Hello littleQ,
Thank you for your response.
We understand that you have contacted Dell and they were not able to help you the way you needed it; however, please understand that we are limited in this case, to share only the information that we have publicly available and unfortunately as previously mentioned an NDA is required. Dell might probably already have an NDA with us, but what you are requesting doesn’t seem like something that even they can publicly share because it will probably violate their NDA, they can sure have access to confidential information if they needed it for internal purposes but for anything else you will have to ask them directly to see what they are capable of doing since we are unaware of what they can or not do, and share or not share within their capabilities.
Best regards,
Victor G.
