quiero comprar un procesador core i5-2450M para mi laptop pero este es compatible con Zócalos FCBGA1023, PPGA988 y mi laptop es PGA988
¿puedo ponerlo en mi laptop o hay alguna diferencia?

PPGA and PGA are the same in your case. However, that is not the problem.
An upgrade processor must be socket, chipset, and BIOS compatible.
You must contact the laptop manufacturer and ask them if the i5-2450M is supported by their BIOS.
If not, then you risk damaging the processor or laptop, or both.
