Is the new CPU technology "Intel Speed Shift" enabled by default on my system ? I have an Intel Skylake i5 6500 and windows 10 (May 2019 update) ? I have another question : do I still have to enable "Intel SpeedStep technology" in my BIOS ? there is an option called "Intel SpeedStep technology (yes/no/auto) ?

Hello KDe K,

Thank you for posting on the Intel communities.

I was checking for you but indeed, the specific processor does not have Intel® Speed Shift Technology.

If you wish to use Intel® Speed Step then the best option I can give you is to contact the motherboard manufacturer for assistance and recommendations on how to set it up for the optimal performance since this technology is managed by the BIOS.

I hope this helps.
