Hello~
I have 'Dual xeon-e5 2690 v3' PC for the engineering simulation purposes.
It uses the MPI solver or MPICH2 solver.
If I use full or many cores in the solver, computer are powerdown.
There are 24 cores but I can be used only 16 cores.
Is there a solution?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The same phenomenon occurs in dual 'xeon-e5 2687W v2'.
There are 16 cores but I can be used only 6 cores.

/thread/116078 muJung, thank you for this information.
I checked the specification for your motherboard and based on that I would like to let you know that in this case the right place to get more accurate answers regarding your inquiry is; https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z10PED8_WS/HelpDesk/ Z10PE-D8 WS | Motherboards | ASUS USA, this since the Intel® C612 Chipset is a server chipset and any questions related to it should be handled by the computer manufacturer.
Regards,
Amy C.
