I'm seeing an apparent mismatch between Public Name and CPUID on page 4.

Intel® Atom® x5-Zxxxx CPU is listed as having CPUID 406C3

Intel® Pentium® Processor N3xxx is listed as having CPUID 406C4

However I have a Pentium N3700 which reports CPUID as 406C3, following excerpts from the listed command.

Hello, cmurf.

Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Communities Team.

I understand you would like to know why the CPUID of your processor is different when running Todd Allen's Tools: cpuid from the one the Microcode Update guidance shows. I will be more than glad to assist you further.

Please bear in mind that this tool you are using is a 3rd party software and the results might not be so accurate. Please run thehttps://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/7838/Intel-Processor-Identification-Utility-Windows-Version?product=5982 Intel® Processor Identification Utility and the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool and verify your CPUID with these tools.

Then, I would like to know if you are facing any type of issue with your NUC and you were forced to look for this information?

Dear Antony :

I also found this issue. My process is Z8350 and Z8550, but I got the CPUID is 406C4.

I was use the Intel Proocessor Identification Utility to check it. Can you help to check it, Thanks.

Ok, will do, seems a regional issue, my DNS resolves newsroom.intel.com to e11.b.akamaiedge.net [2.19.56.4]

Hello, Aking.

Allow me to inform you that this CPUID is a general one for this processors families. Please bear in mind that the microcode update will be released by either a firmware update from your system manufacturer or your OS. Please double check if there is an update for your machine with them.
