I also heard that modern day cpu's are safe if the amount of esd is small.is it true
so I'm very worried about this. Is my cpu safe??in my scenario, is CPU are damaged by (esd)electrostatic?

Hello @Emonn
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We would be more than glad to help you with your issue.
Electrostatic discharge poses a serious risk to electronic components like processors. It's caused by friction between clothes and skin, generating static electricity that can damage components with even a small amount of voltage.
While some components might survive the first discharge, repeated static events can accumulate damage, ultimately destroying the component irreversibly. Chips and memory modules are particularly vulnerable.
Static charges can quietly build up to over 100V and discharge unexpectedly, making prevention crucial when handling electronics. This includes processors, computer parts (memory, HDD), motherboards, and systems.
To minimize risk, use a grounded electrostatic discharge mat. This type of antistatic mat safeguards against electrostatic discharge while working with sensitive equipment. Proper grounding of the mat through a power socket is essential.
In order to check the integrity of the processor, please provide us with the **Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool (IPDT)**. Please provide the actual screenshot of the result (whole page) and the log notes. (Click File > View results file (it will open a notepad) > file then save as (by default file name is TESTRESULTS.TXT)).
We need this file to verify the functionality of an Intel® microprocessor. The diagnostic tool checks for brand identification, verifies the processor operating frequency, tests specific processor features, and performs a stress test on the processor.
