how to activate speedstep or speedshift at windows 10?

hello

i know that activate speedstep at winXP is minimum of power management.

but how to activate speedstep or speedshift at windows 10?

thx!

cf. I own intel Xeon w3550 and hp 0B4Ch mainboard used x58 chipset.

The option to activate the Speedstep normally is located on the BIOS, depending on the motherboard you are using.

 

 

Your processor does support the speed step feature, but there are some more elements to take under consideration. On the following link, you will see further details about that feature, in there you will be able to confirm the chipsets that support that option, X58 chipset is not listed, and also in there you will see the Windows versions that supports it, Windows® 10 is not listed, so that option will not be available for that operating system. Windows ® XP is listed, but the chipset your system is using does not support that feature:
