Hi guys,
i have Lenovo C470 all in One Model 10170., i3-4010U CPU
I try to upgrade my memory to 16GB. with single model chip / www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct204864bf160b
my old original modul is 8gb Samsung www.samsung.com/semiconductor/dram/module/M471B1G73QH0-YK0/
after installing 16GB module the windows cannot load and restarts repeatedly.
in bios module is recognized as 16gb.
my Motherbord have only ONE Slot for ram modul.
My question is: do my CPU 4010U support 16GB single module. and is it possible to make this 16g chip to work fo my sistem.?
Thank you very much for your assistance

You are asking the wrong question. Your processor supports up to 16gb memory.
What you should be doing is asking Lenovo about what the slots on their board can handle.

i was read that only processors above 5 generation intel can support 16GB. single module memory.
because of this i asking here for confirmation, the main point is single modul on one slot.
