i3 cpu graphics

can i use motherboard onboad graphics with i3 cpu instead of fitting a pci graphics card. This is for office use not gaming. Thanks

Probably.  But , it would be nice to know which i3 and what motherboard, and what OS.

Hi Thanks for the reply. Motherboard will be Gigabyte Intel B365M Socket 1151.

cpu  Intel Core i3 9100F (9th Gen) Coffee Lake Refresh or Intel Core i5 9400F 9th Gen Coffee Lake Refresh

and operating system win home 10 64bit.

Gigabyte B360M H Intel Socket 1151 Coffee Lake Mirco would proberly be better as it has on board graphics.

But...  neither the i3-9100F or the i5-9400F provide graphics.

If you want onboard graphics, you must use the B360M H board with a processor that provides graphics.

Sounds like you need to think this hardware selection through a bit more.

Thanks i did realise that the specs said graphics card reqd just wondered if there was a way round it (bios etc).Will use a b360m with a intel i3 and graphics card.

I meant the b365m. B360 only supports up to 8th gen cpu's
