Hello Intel community, I am writing to find out if there is a solution to a
problem I am having with my 12600k processor.
The problem I have is that my processor at rest stays at 4.9Ghz and under extreme
load only at 4.5Ghz, shouldn't it be the other way around?I was contacting
asus support, but in the end they washed their hands and sent me to INTEL
My MotherBoard is a Asus Prime B760-PLUS.
What I want to know is if there are any adjustments I should make so that
the processor can remain at its 4.9Ghz under load?
It should be noted that I do not have temperature problems,
I almost never exceed 65C at maximum load, and 30C at rest.

Hello WILLBER,
Thank you for the update.
Different system will behave differently even if they have the same components. As for turbo boost, since it is working, that means there is no issue with your system. You cannot run at the Turbo Boost speed all the time, it will just boost when it is needed and there is a headroom for temperature.
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hello WILLBER,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
Please understand that the Processors do not run at their maximum Turbo Boost frequency all the time. It will just give you speed boost when needed. Please check the link below for more details:

Hello Mike Thanks for answering, I understand very well what you are saying,
however I do not understand why when using Hardware Info and cpu-z,
It always shows me all the p-cores at 4.9Ghz, but when I use Cinebench R23,
they automatically go down to 4.5Ghz, and temperatures almost never exceed 50-65C
In the bios I have set the PL1-PL2 to 150W, but in Hardware info and cinebench R23
I never exceed 115W with 60C, I just want the turbo to work as it should,
my pc is brand new, so I don't know if I should make any adjustments,
or literally I will just have to forget to take advantage
of the turbo boost correctly on my pc.
I read something somewhere else about
disabling something called CEP in the bios, but I couldn't get that CEP anywhere.
