I have been having random freezes several weeks apart ever since I have built my computer in August of 2016. I do not experience any blue screen of death except for one time when I receive this:https://i.imgur.com/mN1w0sT.jpg https://i.imgur.com/mN1w0sT.jpg
I would like some assistance in determining if my processor has an issue or not by using some elimination techniques.
Below is my configuration, there has been no overclocking:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz 1151 Boxed Processor with Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2)
MOBO: GIGABYTE LGA1151 Intel Z170 ATX DDR4 Motherboards GA-Z170X-Gaming 3
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming Video/Graphics Cards GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB - 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM)

I really appreciate the results of the Intel® Processor Diagnostic tool, by checking them, it seems that your processor is healthy. Then, you can double check the information provided on CPU-Z* on the BIOS as well. Furthermore, you can verify the rest of your hardware parts with some 3rd party software like https://www.memtest86.com/ HDDScan for your HDD or https://www.memtest86.com/ MemTest86 for RAM.

I have ran memtest as well as Samsung Magician, neither gave any faulty signs.

By the way, when I go to task manager > performance, I see that my CPU speed jumps from 0.98 to 1.22 to 1.98 to 1.04, etc, etc. Is this normal? All I have open is firefox with some tabs, itunes, and adobe acrobat.

This behavior on the Windows* performance tab is normal since the processor will change its frequency as it requires to depending on the tasks that are running at the moment.
I recommend you to get in touch with the manufacturer of your https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Support motherboard to double check the health of it and verify if there is a BIOS update for your system. As previously mentioned, as per the results of the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool and the results of the SSD and RAM test, it seems these pieces of hardware are healthy.

Memtest 86 is a good test for memory. If your ram is running at 2133 seed you don't need new ram unless it fails memtest86.
