i5-750 Fan help

Hi

I have recently purchased an Intel i5-750 CPU and i have a question

When I got the Processor it also came with a fan, but no thermal paste.

Is there anything else that I need for my processor to being installation or can I just install it without the thermal paste?

If you purchased a new (sealed) i5-750 including fan, it should have the thermal paste already applied to the bottom of the HeatSinkFan. The pre-applied paste can be seen in the following picture: http://www.frostytech.com/articleimages/200706/intelC2Dstock_bot.jpg

If your HeatSinkFan does not have the pre-applied thermal paste I would be concerned about the state of your purchase, ie not new.
