So I'm, less or more lucky;), owner of i5 760 LGA1156 processor, which is supposed to use Turbo Boost technology. Yet, when I try to install Turbo Boost drivers, it says that my processor does not have such thing. I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I'd appreciate quick answer, thanks in advance;)

Hi,...ermm could you post a link to teh turbo boost drivers you are trying to instal?
AFAIK turbo boost is a native feature of teh CPU you do nto need to install any drivers for it to work.

Have you checked your BIOS set-up options to see if your motherboad BIOS supports Turbo Boost and if it is enabled?

If you think it is a software loading issue, you could also try CPUz http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

ah ok,
I wouldn't worry about teh turbo monitor, i've never actually seen it work, it will simply say if it is enabled or not, i also have teh feeling it is prob because of win 64 that you cant install it. AS the Doc said, just check the BIOS for the option and whether it is enabled or not, and if you realy wanna besure check CPUz

try using the latest version of PCwizard to monitor the CPU clock. Yellow in the Bar graph means turbo boost is active
