i5/i7 IMC voltage setting in XMP profiles

hello,

my question is simple really so an simple answer and explanation would be really handy

when running i5\i7 cpu's with RAM's that are XMP rated the XMP setting changes voltage's for RAM and IMC, dose running RAM in XMP mode which sets a voltage of 1.65volts for the RAM and the IMC at 1.25volts VOID the warranty for the CPU? or can it DAMAGE the CPU's IMC?..........there is much confusion on if its safe for the CPU from the info i can gather.
