i7-14700k getting way too hot

Hey, I have a question about my i7-14700k processor. It is brand new and i finished my build a few days ago. I have an h150i elite lcd xt 360 mm as my liquid cooler. While my computer is idle, i am ranging from 38c-45c which seems a bit high and when im in a game it ranges from 70-100c. I am worried that i have an issue with cooling or my processor because these temps seem very high and im scared of harming my processor or ruining its life span. Please get back to me on if these temperatures are okay or not. (Also i heard about undervolting but i have no idea where to start or how to even do it.) It runs stock, i have not adjusted the cpu at all. Also, games less cpu intensive don’t give me issues at all. My cooler is an h150i elite lcd xt 360mm from corsair and i just re applied thermal paste when building. I have a 3 exhaust 3 intake fan setup with the 3 intake fans being on the front and the 3 exhaust being 2 up top and 1 rear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello @Josh66

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.

We understand you are worried about the temperatures of your Intel® Core™ i7-14700K Processor, we will be more than happy to provide you with some information.

Please keep in mind that Intel® Processors have built-in thermal protection. If the processor gets too hot, the built-in protection shuts down the processor. If your computer isn't overclocked, and is running under the design specifications, the built-in protection can help prevent damage to your system.

We can recommend checking this: Overheating Symptoms and Troubleshooting for Intel® Boxed Processors

If you are experiencing a performance issue, please let me know and provide a report from Intel® System Support Utility for Windows. Make sure you check “Everything” before you scan, then save the report and attach it to your response.
