i7 4470 - driver - nothing

hi,

i cannot upgrade the driver of my Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz. Windows tells me the latest is from 04/21/2009. I tried to install the 15.40.38.64.4963 version but it tells me my system has not the minium required configuration.

How come?

The driver assistant tells me theres' no update available. I hardly believe there has not been any since april 2009.

Or does windows not give me the correct information, and so, where did the upgrades go?

What could I do?

Provide more information for better help, like the OS, and system/motherboard model number.

I'm using an Asus H87 Plus motherboard, a windows 10 64bits OS

I did already try the drivers on the link you provided but it just tells me my system doesn't have the minimal configuration which I cannot understand.

Do you have an add-in graphics card installed in this PC? If so, the Intel HD Graphics 4600 engine is likely disabled and this would explain why it says the system doesn't meet the minimum configuration. If you have an add-in graphics card installed, you do not need to install the driver package for the Intel HD Graphics 4600 engine.
