hello i am very confused about the cpu and mother board in question, i can provide screen shots on what is being asked. i have been in contact with gigabyte themselves, as you will see my cpu is being over voltage at 1.616v was 1.8+v i have done what gigabyte suggested and voltage is still over what it should be, so do i have a defected cpu or mother board, i am very worried about this as its a new set up and would to return products if faulty.
question and question2.jpeg provided.
CPU-Z Capture up to four as follows
and my bios set up.
is this a motherbord or cpu fault?
According to the pictures posted the processor is over clocked to 4.2GHz. The 4 Cores are running at maximum speed; when processor runs faster the voltage will increase, this is a normal process.
The Base Frequency of Intel® Core™ i7-6700K is 4.0GHz.
