Hello Inferius,

Thank you for contacting Intel Communities.

I am sorry to hear you are getting BSOD in your system.

This seems to be related either to the BIOS (which contains the microcode for the CPU) or to corrupt or missing dll files on your system.

I would recommend contacting Asus for support or to check the following thread from Microsoft:

I hope this information helps.

Best Regards,

Inferius: In regard to your question, it is hard to tell what is the source of the problem because it could be either the board, processor or even memory RAM.

Did you try a BIOS update on the board to the latest version 1701?

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-X99-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/ https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-X99-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/

Did you test it just with one stick of RAM?

Did you test the PC without the video card? Just to rule out a possible problem with it?

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Yes, i tried a last BIOS and tested my memory by memtest86 and no problem with memory, but BSOD every few days (2-10 days) and i can't use low performance PC with one stick of RAM for long time.

I can't test without GPU because processor doesn't have inlcuded GPU.

Problem was solved when i disabled Turbo Boost 3, but if i switch on Turbo Boost problem returned, but without TB3 it has low performance.

Inferius: Thank you very much for letting us know those results. The next thing for us to try will be to re-install the chipset driver, please choose the operating system to get the drivers:

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-X99-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/ https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-X99-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/

Also, we can try to install the latest graphics driver for the Nvidia card:

http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/123219/en-us http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/123219/en-us

Do you have the option to test your processor on a different board, or test your board with a different processor? This is in order to find out what might be the source of the problem since both processor and board support Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Hi,

all driver which i have are newest and i reinstalled OS with format HDD several times and still same problem.

I don't have the option to test my processor on a different board and test different processor, because in my neighborhood nobody have socket 2011-3.
