Quick question, someone told me that my current motherboard (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131621&cm_re=asus_p7p55d-e_pro-_-13-131-621-_-Product http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131621&cm_re=asus_p7p55d-e_pro-_-13-131-621-_-Product) is compatible with the new SB i7 CPU (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=19-115-071&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=2# scrollFullInfo http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=19-115-071&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=2# scrollFullInfo). I'm having doubts since the new cpu is lga 1155 and the mobo is 1156, comments? Thanks.

I would suggest checking the following website for a list of fully supported processors for your ASUS* motherboard:
http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
Or you can also contact ASUS* support for more compatibility information, please keep in mind that if a processor is based on socket 1155, it will not fit on a socket 1156.
