Hi everyone,

Today when I started my PC, it was incredibly slow. When I looked in task manager I saw it was only using 0.39Ghz.

XTU says the same.

This is what XTU says, I've also run the Intel Processor Diagnostic, and it passed that.

I use this computer for work and I'm a bit lost at what to do now.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone.

XTU is also telling you that your processor is being Current/EDP limit throttled. This typically occurs with a misconfigured BIOS or failure occurring in the power delivery circuitry. Are you seeing the same issue with the laptop running on A/C and Battery power?

Hi,

Even I am facing the same problem. My cpu i5-12450h is stuck at 3.3 GHz while max speed it can achieve is 4.4 GHz. My bios is updated  but I cant access intel turbo boost in bios. I have no idea how to fix this. Looking forward to some answers.

Thanks

Siddhant

@siddhant_shatapathy There is nothing to fix.  You processor will boost when needed.

Is this a laptop? If so, I suggest that you discuss this with your laptop manufacturer. It may be they they have set very low limits so that they can get away with using a cheaper cooling solution...
