So first off all sorry for my bad english .
So quick resume on day 20 of November 2023 i buy the new cpu the i9 14900kf and until 2 moths ago everything was fine all starts with random blue screens then passes to random crashs in all my games , right now i only have a "stable" pc with my ram in stock.
My WorkStation:
Intel I9 14900KF
WaterCooling 360MM ARGB COOLER MASTER
Motherboard MSI MPG Z790 EDGE WIFI 4DDR5
Ram 32GB DDR5 7600MHZ GSKILL TRIDENT RGB
RTX 2080 TI Gibabyte
CORSAIR 850W 80+ GOLD
What i already did :
-> Flash bios with 7D91vHC3(Beta version)
->undervolt cpu
->put ram on stock settings
Before flashed bios anything have worked.
After flash bios work 4 days all normal(with xmp1 profile) but then start with crashs again , in xtu i can see i have all the time Current/edp limit throttling with my ram with 4800mhz(the most stable one) but if i active xmp1 profile and ram go for 7600mhz i got power limit throttling , current/edp limit throttling and thermal throttling and the crashes start again
I need help please

Hi!
So at what temperatures are your CPU running?
Have you tried a frequency between 4800 and 7600MT/s to stabilize?
I can only run 6600MT/s on that same board paired with an i7.

Hey , so my temperature right now is in 49º to 64º max in idle !
You can run 6600MT/s with what cl ?
i am trying a lot of speeds but i got all the time power limit throttling and current/edp limit throttling
only with 4800 i got some times current/edp limit throttling

Very strange with those high temperatures.
Is the cooler properly attached?
I think 6600/CL32.

Hi Txr2570,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
After reading the things that you had done, it seems that your CPU is faulty. Warranty may be the best solution for your concern. However, to fully determine if that is the case, kindly allow me to ask the following questions:
1. Were you having the same crashes even on BIOS version, 7D91vHC2(Beta version)? If not kindly revert to that version and load “Intel Default Settings” , then check for improvements.
I am not sure if you can do a downgrade of your BIOS firmware. I recommend that you consult MSI if this is something that you can do.
If the same crashes happen after doing this, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) will be the best course of action for your concern.

Hi Txr2570,
Thank you for your response.
Just to confirm the answer that you provided on your latest post, do you still have crashes even with XMP disabled and running on stock settings?
We will wait for your confirmation

Hi @TxR2570 ,
That sounds much better.
Perhaps you could try to increase RAM frequency without XMP then?
It would be a pity to run that nice RAM at 4800Mt/s

Hi Txr2570,
We appreciate your update.
Please continue to observe the system.
Intel has determined that elevated operating voltage is a cause of the majority of instability issues in some 13th and 14th Gen desktop processors. Analysis of returned processors with instability symptoms confirms that the elevated operating voltage is stemming from a microcode algorithm resulting in incorrect voltage requests to the processor.
Intel is delivering a microcode patch which addresses the root cause of exposure to elevated voltages. Intel is continuing validation to ensure that scenarios of instability reported to Intel regarding its Core 13th and 14th Gen desktop processors are addressed. Following full validation, Intel is targeting mid-August for patch release to partners.
We will check back with you after some time.
