il pc si blocca e si surriscalda

Aiuttto!!!

Hello @andreaschwarz

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. Our support is only provided in English. We may not be able to translate screenshots attached to the thread. To better assist you, we use a translation tool.

The Intel® Core™ i5-9300H Processor has a Junction Temperature (the maximum temperature allowed at the processor die) of 100°C.

In sustained workloads, it's possible the processor will operate at or near its maximum temperature limit. Being at maximum temperature while running a workload isn't necessarily cause for concern. Intel processors constantly monitor their temperature and can very rapidly adjust their frequency and power consumption to prevent overheating and damage.

However, since you are experiencing freezing and "strange sound" issues when the temperature is increasing, there could be an underlying issue considering it is only happening when the system is plugged in to power (using the power adapter/charger).

In this case, you may try the following suggestions:

1- See if anything has changed around the system. Undo any recent changes that might have caused the overheating/freezing problem.

2- Check to make sure that the intake vents and exhaust vents are clear of dust and lint and nothing is blocking proper airflow.

3- Make sure your system is up to date (Windows updates, drivers, and software updates).

Try changing the Power Plan for the Intel® Graphics. For instructions, please refer to this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057183/graphics.html

You may also check the Power Plan options available in Windows® Settings >> Power Options and the Advanced Power Settings and change them to see if there is a different behavior.

In addition, you may check if there are also Power Options for the discrete video card Nvidia. For these options, please contact your OEM for proper guidance.

4- We noticed your system has a discrete video card (Nvidia* GeForce® GTX 1650). Usually, video/3d applications are supposed to run using the resources of the discrete video card. Make sure you have the latest driver and check with your laptop manufacturer (OEM) for the proper settings.

5- Try to load the default BIOS settings in your system. Note: You may wish to contact your OEM for assistance and to note the current BIOS settings before resetting the BIOS.

6- It seems there are 3 newer BIOS releases for your system >> "F.33 Rev.A" (as per the screenshot attached, the laptop is running F.20). Check with your OEM (HP* support) if they recommend updating the BIOS. They may also provide you with the correct updating steps.

7- Test the processor with the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool. You can download the proper version (32 or 64 bit) from the below link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool

The purpose of the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool is to verify the functionality of an Intel® microprocessor.

Feel free to share the outcome of the test. To save the report, once the test is done, click on "File >> View Results File" and attach the .txt file to your reply.

Hello andreaschwarz

We have not heard back from you so we will proceed to close this thread now. If the issues persist after trying the recommended steps our last recommendation is to check this further with your laptop manufacturer for additional recommendations and debugging from their side.
