i have hp laptop 15bs-542TU model which has intel core i3 6 gen. its mother board have a ssd slot marked with M2X3 JSSD. i am looking for a ssd for this. please suggest me which ssd is supported PCIe, M.2 SATA or NVMe.

The answer is M.2 SATA as confirmed by this post on the HP Community forum.
If not done already it may be worth ensuring that your laptop drivers and software are up to date before installing a drive. HP will, once you confirm your Windows version, link you to a support page that lists all the latest drivers etc and also offers an automated tool that will identify all the needed updates.
