is e6700 3.2 ghz compatible with my dg965ry mobo?

i went to cpu page, it is compatible.

i went to mainboard page, it ends at e6700 2.66 ghz

my mainboard is 3 years old. i doubt it.

ps e6600 3.06 ghz doesn't show compatible mainboards?

It is Compatible as long as your BIOS is 0816 or better as listed here for SL9S7 or SL9ZF E6700

Intel's compare thing is messed up thanks to them using the same CPU listing for another newer CPU so yes its probably not compatible .
