new cpu i9-11900kf games crash

I've taken out my i5 10600k and upgraded to an i9-11900kf in my mpg z490 gaming plus motherboard and I'm finding that my games crash, cpu temps are all good all I've done is turned back on xmp. I haven't updated bios or gotten a fresh windows install just switched cpus and hoped everything would workout since they're able to run on the same bios version, also the blue usb ports don't work since the switch

Any idea on what should be done to fix my issues?
