I downloaded the XTU Intel Overclocking Utility (XTUSetup_7.14.2.14) to tweak my CPU settings, but I’m encountering an issue where the tool won’t load properly. I have an Intel Core i9-12900K (12th Gen) processor, and after installing the software, it either fails to start or gets stuck on the loading screen.

I’ve already tried reinstalling XTU, running it as an administrator, and checking for any conflicting software, but the issue persists. My BIOS is up to date, and I’ve ensured that my Intel drivers are current. I also disabled any background processes that might interfere with XTU, but no luck so far.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, what steps did you take to resolve it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello DragonFangxD,

Thank you for sharing this via the community.

Please try using this version of Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) to help isolate the issue. Once you have downloaded and installed it, kindly provide an update on whether this version is functioning properly.

Looking forward to your response.
