if i by a q9550 here in korea and take it back to us will and install in my pc will it work...in realize the power is differnt here than there TIA

Hi there,
In general that does not matter. The processor should work fine everywhere you take it I guess.
One thing you may consider is about the warranty, sometimes if you trying to replace processor in a different geagraphic location while you bought it in another location, sometimes you may not always get it replace directly via intel, they will tell you to contact your point of purchase. However this is very rare though. Nothing to worry much as far as i know.
If I am wrong, some people may correct me.

I agree with the previous coment, a processor from any country will work in anyother country.

Agreed, the processor will work, but with the power difference, you'll need to ensure your power supply can accept the U.S. power standard of 110V AC 60 Hz. and the power outlet plug.
