processor failure

i have a INTEL CORE I5-4460.

BUT IT CANNOT FUNCTION NORMALLY.

MY DESKTOP SUDDENLY CANNOT BOOT UP AND NO DISPLAY.

THE PROCESSOR fan spinning well.

I CHANGE ANOTHER processor, hen put back to the same motherboard then it can boot up normally.

ACTUALLY WHAT wrong with my I5-4460?

I MEAN WHOLE DESKTOP, JUST ONLY PROCESSOR ARE NOT WORKING, THE OTHER HARDWARE CAN WORKING NORMALLY.

WHAT WILL CAUSING A PROCCESSOR FAILURE

CAN ANYONE tell me, please.

Provide your motherboard model number, or system model number. And, what operating system are you using.

Then, the Intel support staff will be able to assist you.

Also, do not be afraid to release the CAPS LOCK.
