You should be asking Microsoft, shouldn't you?

Nevertheless, read this:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/installing-windows-11-on-devices-that-don-t-meet-minimum-system-requirements-0b2dc4a2-5933-4ad4-9c09-ef0a331518f1

And, note that Microsoft can pull the rug out from under you at any time.

Hello paulmars,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

Your system should not be able to install Windows 11, since the Intel® Core™ i3-7100U processor does not support Windows 11 according to Microsoft support list (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors)

I recommend you to check this article for more information regarding Windows 11 requirements (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000087875/processors.html) and to contact Microsoft for OS support.

Thank you for your response.

We cannot confirm what would happen, since your processor it is not compatible. For further concerns, I recommend you to contact Microsoft support (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/).

If you need any additional information, please submit a new question, as this thread will no longer be monitored.
