"No device drivers were found" when installing Windows 10 using a USB

My processor is the intel core i5 2320, my motherboard is the Asus P8Z77-V le plus.

I saw on the internet that I needed the drivers from another pendrive to fix this. I tried to download the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology, but the drivers weren't compatible with my computer, since they are for the 11th generation. I need someone to help me get the drivers compatible with my processor, please.

Hello @Arthur7

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We understand that your system has an Intel® Core™ i5-2320 Processor and an ASUS* P8Z77-V LE PLUS motherboard with Intel® Z77 Express Chipset.

It is worth mentioning that Intel only provides generic versions of drivers for general purposes. Your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your driver. Therefore, the usual recommendation is to use the customized drivers provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and to contact the OEM for the latest system-specific updates and technical support information validated for your system.

We checked the ASUS* website for your ASUS* motherboard, and it seems there are no Windows* 10-compatible Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) drivers available on their website. Based on the information on their website, it seems they only offer Intel® RST drivers up to Windows 8.1.

In addition, we would like to inform you that the Intel® Core™ i5-2320 Processor and Intel® Z77 Express Chipset (part of the Intel® 7 Series Chipsets family) are legacy/discontinued and after reviewing this further, we have confirmed that Intel does not offer and does not publish on our Download Center Intel® RST drivers compatible with those legacy components.

The most legacy Intel® RST driver we have on our Download Center is version 15.9.8.1050. The minimum/oldest processor(s) and chipset(s) supported are:

  • Intel® 7th/6th Generation Core™ Processors.
  • Intel® 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family

This means that the Intel® Core™ 2nd Generation Processors and Intel® 7 Series Chipsets family is not supported.

In this case, our recommendation is to review this further with ASUS* Support to confirm operating system (OS) compatibility with Windows 10 and if they have any recommended Intel® RST driver validated for your system and this OS version. In addition, they may also assist you with OS installation issues in case there is another problem causing this behavior.
